Daniel E. Hopper

Raised in Detroit Lakes, MN, Daniel completed a double major in Political Science and History at the University of North Dakota. Daniel went on to graduate with distinction from the University of North Dakota School of Law.

During the completion of his undergraduate degree, Daniel obtained a particular interest in the United States legal system. In particular, Daniel took great interest in the development of criminal justice system in the United States. His interest in criminal law only expanded as he pursued his Juris Doctor Degree at the University of North Dakota.

Daniel's legal career began with Larivee and Light as a law clerk in his second year of law school. During this time with Larivee and Light, Daniel has demonstrated great legal writing skills, which have translated well to the Courtroom. Daniel's legal work has focused exclusively on Criminal Defense.

Daniel is also the lead attorney on criminal appeals. Daniel has been extensively involved in numerous appeals, including petitions for certiorari to the United States Supreme Court.
